Recently, Heineken, the worlds’ most international premium beer, took part as a proud sponsor in an epic end of year event that marked the beginning of the festive season in Dar es Salaam.
Dar city Revelers turned up in their thousands to participate in Tanzania’s prime Nyama Choma Festival (TNCF) which is among the regions finest and aims to bring together meat lovers for an afternoon of fun, music and relaxation. Alta Vista Events are organizers of The NCF.
According to a statement released to media, this time around Heineken plans to spread the festive cheer through a countrywide supermarket promo aimed at enticing consumers to partake in the company of their family, loved ones and friends in the spirit of togetherness.
“We are delighted that throughout December we will run a promotion at designated supermarkets countrywide, that allows consumers to buy six Heineken 330ml bottles at the price of five or four 500ml cans at the price of three,” said Heineken Tanzania country manager, Michael Mbungu.
“For 2015, we have had successive innovative campaigns including the limited edition city bottles that for the first time carried a Dar es Salaam label, the UEFA Champions League trophy bottle and launch of 50cl bottle in Tanzania,” he said.
On plans for 2016, among other things the Country Manager hinted at an exclusive Heineken match viewing experience from the last 16 to the 2016 UEFA Champions League final to be held at Milan’s Stadio Giuseppe – otherwise known as San Siro – on 28 May.
