UCL: HEINEKEN® REWARDS TANZANIANS WHO 'CHAMPION THE MATCH NIGHT' WITH THE #CHAMPIONSVOYAGE

Enjoying the ultimate football experience with none other than Brazil’s previous world player of the year, “Captain Ronaldinho”. A select few lucky east Africans including two Tanzanian outlet owners treated to an unforgettable Heineken® Voyage Experience to Mykonos, Greece.
Heineken treated top performing outlets to enjoy the Heineken Experience and hospitality through a champions voyage party for the 2017 UCL final. For Tanzania, 2 outlet owners Adam Matunga - Kwetu Pazuri Tabata and Nassor from Mbeya graced the event.
In conjunction with Heineken’s latest ‘Champion the Match Night’ campaign during this UEFA Champions League season, Heineken has launched The Heineken Champions Voyage challenge,which allowed some 500 lucky beer drinkers from across the globe to watch the UEFA Champions League final while sailing to Mykonos, Greece… courtesy of Heineken.

For Tanzania, Heineken treated 2 top performing outlets to enjoy the Heineken Experience and hospitality through a champions voyage party for the 2017 UCL final. The outlets were represented by their owners Adam Matunga from Kwetu Pazuri Tabata and Nassor from Mbeya who joined other globetrotters in the #ChampionsVoyage cruise in Greece.

The Outlet owners were also treated to an unforgettable Heineken® Voyage Experience to Mykonos, which was captained by none other than Brazil’s previous world player of the year, “Captain Ronaldinho”.

Never before has the UEFA Champions League (UCL) final been more accessible to Tanzanian football fans than when Heineken® brought the game to Dar es Salaam. Aside from those who participated in the #ChampionsVoyage, Heineken Tanzania engaged and excited throngs of Tanzanian football fans at the culmination of 2017 UEFA Champions League (UCL) final at various select outlets spread across the country.

Heineken will for the next three years offer through its #ChampionsVoyage challenge the chance for a select few to watch the UEFA Champions League final while on cruise in Greece.

“I am thankful for the support I and my staff get from Heineken. Working with Heineken on various projects is definitely an exciting experience for me especially since we got to watch the final match live on a luxury cruise in Greece!” Adam Matunga shared.

While the night may have belonged to Real Madrid, local soccer fans will never forget their once in a lifetime viewing experience, when it felt as though they too were in Cardiff cheering on their favourite team to victory.
It was definitely the ultimate football experience for the lucky Tanzanians, and they shared their energy and passion with over 4 billion other football fans across the globe as they cheered on their team during the Juventus vs Real Madrid match.
